💫 001 ; morning of the 8th.

Now that school’s out and we’ve got the summer all to ourselves how’s about kicking it off the right way… with a backyard BBQ. On the 19th I’m hosting a big ass get together and you’re all invited. That’s right, all of you, ‘cause it wouldn’t be a party if there weren’t a shitload of people everywhere. FYI, it’s a potluck, [ surprise? ] so bring a little something to share with the class. Don’t care what it is, to be honest, as long as we have something to eat alongside all the beef, chicken, fish, hotdogs, sausage, and kabobs… because who the hell doesn’t like saying that.

Bring a bathing suit ‘cause I have a pool with a slide and, if you’re feeling adventurous, a trampoline. [ maybe he should consider having everybody sign a waiver on the way in… ]

( ooc; there is going to be a party at the peter household on the 19th, which is also when a plot related shitstorm is going to happen. characters MIGHT die at the party and now we know why. there's a possibility that attendees may get attacked by animals ( or friends ) but if you'd like to avoid that they can certainly bang out early. i’m going to see about getting the log up asap… and by asap i mean this weekend. )

You’re the man, Blaine. [ he’s never going to say no to booze. ] Sure. I’m kind of curious about what you’re listening to these days.

The amnesia hasn't messed with my taste in music.

Hey now, I'm just making sure.

[he shakes his head, smiling. Oh ye of little faith] Hey, you're engaged to that green lady, right? We ran into each other when I woke up at the hospital.

[holdmybeer]

Gamora, yep. [ he smiles, though it fades the moment he mentions having bumped into her at the hospital of all places. ] Yeah? She didn't... break anything of yours, right? She was pretty frazzled back there, what with the accident and memory loss... made her punchy.

[blaiiines]

I think we all felt a little punchy, brother. The population was just lucky we didn't run into anyone.

[holdmybeer]

[ he snorts. ] I didn't feel punchy. [ he's lying. he did, just probably not as much as some of the other people around here. ] I might have even gotten residency in that hospital. [ don't ask. ]

You-- [Blaine's lip twitches in amusement, but then a thought occurs to him: wouldn't it be nice if he did have someone he knew in the hospital? Someone who could get the inside track on what was really going on in this town?

The concept tickles his memories. Maybe he did have someone like that. Maybe not in the hospital, but in another place... It's too hard to grasp onto the foggy memories, so Blaine lets it go]

I was mistaken for a doctor. You and I just have very trusting faces. [har har]

Mmmhm. [ he's a little too proud of himself. ] Dr. Feel Good. [ if he's going to keep up the act he should probably change his name to something a little bit more... believable. ]

[ it looks like as far as having someone on the inside they have the same idea. he does want to go back and see if he can't fool them now that things have calmed down. ] Oh yeah? [ he's smirking a little too wide for his own good. ] I'm thinking we head back to the hospital then... see if we can't play catch up.

[blaiiines]

[Blaine smirks. This is the true reason he and Peter are friends. Not because Peter was a good employee or because they spent nights dancing to music while working-- though these are both good reasons-- but because their minds go in the same criminal direction]

I'm thinking brilliant plans need fewer eyes and ears.

[as in, probably shouldn't discuss faking being doctors to infiltrate the hospital over such a public forum]

Point. [ this definitely wasn't something they should be discussing where eavesdroppers were certainly abound. ] Hey, how's about coming over for a beer? We can talk about the party.

Sounds good. I do have a few ideas I need to bounce off you.
