In my attempts to break out into the art world I’m opening up commissions. This means portraits, settings, signs & advertisements or if you can describe something, very well I can either draw or paint it. I’ll be at the field day and school trip if anyone wants to see samples of what I can do.

Pricing will be on a case-by-case bias. I’m down for any work I can get starting off so hit me up!

Remember: There is no try. There is do and do not.

I can. If you can describe them. I drew my friends mother.

I can describe her. [ There's no question about that. ] Something small, that could fit into a wallet, would be ideal.

I can do that. I'll probably want to sketch her bigger first. That way you can make sure it's perfect. Then I can shrink it and use ink for a smaller image if you want.

That sounds fine. Whatever the cost, I can pay. Just let me know when you're ready to begin.

I'm free whenever. I just need a description. It'll be easier if we meet. Then I can have it to you in 2-3 days. We'll figure out price when it's done. I want to make sure you like it first.

Sure! I'm heading off to Field Day soon and then the Camping trip. Is it okay if I swing by before then?

[ Whenever Clary stops by the tea shop, she may notice Jefferson there-- not tending to customers (somebody else is doing that right now), but tidying things, keeping his hands busy. He seems tense and agitated, but that's not exactly unusual for him. ]

[Clary’s been to the tea shop a few times before. She likes drawing there though she usually ends up so focused that her tea gets cold before she can finish it. Familiar scents fill her nose when she steps inside and she feels a comfortable smile pull across her lips. She has her backpack with her, which has everything she needs safely organized inside of it. She’s wearing torn jean shorts and a light colored tank top that brought out the bright green of her eyes. Her hair is tied back though there are a few thin wisps that have broken free from her ponytail.

She spots Jefferson and heads in his direction. Her steps thud softly against the floor. She has this thing about not wanting to sneak up on people though she doesn’t know why.]

Hey.

[She directs her smile at him.]

This a good time?

[It’s hard for her to tell.]

[ He's organizing the teas behind the counter-- well, reorganizing, because he's decided to change the system by which they're laid out for the umpteenth time (much to his employees' probable annoyance)-- when Clary approaches. Jefferson turns and gives her a once-over before nodding. ]

Yeah. [ As good a time as any, since he's just keeping himself busy for the sake of it. Though he's dressed as impeccably as ever in his dress shirt, vest, and scarf, he's a bit frazzled and distracted and just... hoping it doesn't show. He moves around so that he's no longer behind the counter, gesturing at one of the empty tables. ] Thanks for coming. Would you like anything before we get started?

What's your favorite thing to draw?

I like drawing people but as I see them. So nothing like a simple portrait. Though I can do that too.

Sounds like you've put a lot of thought into this. Way more interesting than a lemonade stand.
