text; Big Summer Blow Out

In my attempts to break out into the art world I’m opening up commissions. This means portraits, settings, signs & advertisements or if you can describe something, very well I can either draw or paint it. I’ll be at the field day and school trip if anyone wants to see samples of what I can do.

Pricing will be on a case-by-case bias. I’m down for any work I can get starting off so hit me up!

Remember: There is no try. There is do and do not.

💫 001 ; morning of the 8th.

Now that school’s out and we’ve got the summer all to ourselves how’s about kicking it off the right way… with a backyard BBQ. On the 19th I’m hosting a big ass get together and you’re all invited. That’s right, all of you, ‘cause it wouldn’t be a party if there weren’t a shitload of people everywhere. FYI, it’s a potluck, [ surprise? ] so bring a little something to share with the class. Don’t care what it is, to be honest, as long as we have something to eat alongside all the beef, chicken, fish, hotdogs, sausage, and kabobs… because who the hell doesn’t like saying that.

Bring a bathing suit ‘cause I have a pool with a slide and, if you’re feeling adventurous, a trampoline. [ maybe he should consider having everybody sign a waiver on the way in… ]

( ooc; there is going to be a party at the peter household on the 19th, which is also when a plot related shitstorm is going to happen. characters MIGHT die at the party and now we know why. there's a possibility that attendees may get attacked by animals ( or friends ) but if you'd like to avoid that they can certainly bang out early. i’m going to see about getting the log up asap… and by asap i mean this weekend. )

2: EASY MONEY

I have a favor to ask, if anyone has the time and inclination. [ Actually. Wait. He wants this done ASAP, so: ] Less a favor, actually, and more an odd job. I'll pay.

[ He could blame his habit of flinging money around like a big spender on his (fake, curse) memories convincing him he comes from a wealthy family, but the truth is... he's always been pretty bad with money. ]

1: going a little mad

[ Look, Jefferson hasn't really left the house much since he stumbled back from the hospital five days ago. The few things he remembers unnerve him, and he can't distinguish them from the fake memories that have become far more prominent in his mind-- being more grounded and 'realistic' than his actual life. So he just been staying inside, being a pill at Howard, and hiding in the safe familiarity of his home. With no company but the idiot amnesiac he thinks is his not-so-amicable ex.

Which is why he sounds so on edge when he records this message: ]

I could use someone to talk to. [ Pause, then an emphatic: ] Not How-- my... housemate. Who left wet towels on the bathroom floor and still won't fix the toaster he broke!

[ He lets out a frustrated breath. ]

Maybe I need more than a conversation.

Company. Company would be nice. I'll even pour you a drink.

[ So, it's not a booty call to the network, but it could be misinterpreted as one to any trolls out there. He's just lonely!
